Open Telekom Cloud

Open Telekom Cloud (OTC) is Deutsche Telekom's public cloud offering, positioning itself as Germany's largest sovereign cloud platform. As a strategic infrastructure provider, OTC caters particularly to organizations with strict data sovereignty requirements and compliance needs under European regulations. While its service portfolio may not match the breadth of hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, or GCP, OTC has established itself as a reliable platform for enterprises prioritizing data residency and regulatory compliance in the DACH region.

We have developed extensive expertise in implementing and managing OTC infrastructures, establishing ourselves as a leading consultancy partner in the OTC ecosystem. This unique position has fostered a close collaborative relationship with T-Systems, enabling us to influence platform development and provide enhanced support capabilities. While we acknowledge certain limitations in terms of managed services and feature availability compared to major cloud providers, we find that OTC's focus on regional compliance, combined with our privileged access to their technical teams and early insight into platform developments, creates significant value for clients with specific regulatory requirements or preference for German cloud solutions.
