Azure Cloud
cloudopsAzure Cloud stands as a comprehensive cloud computing platform that has become an integral part of our technological infrastructure. We leverage its robust capabilities for hosting diverse services, ranging from sophisticated AI/ML workloads to containerized applications and enterprise-level integrations. The platform's standout feature is its seamless integration with the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly with Office 365 and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), which provides us with a unified and secure environment for our operations. Through Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), we efficiently manage our containerized workloads, benefiting from advanced autoscaling capabilities and streamlined orchestration.
We chose Azure Cloud primarily for its strong enterprise integration capabilities and natural compatibility with our existing Microsoft-based toolchain. The platform's extensive AI/ML services align perfectly with our development requirements, while its well-documented APIs, CLI, and Terraform provider support make infrastructure management more straightforward. Although we appreciate these advantages, we've observed that certain operations, such as resource creation and deletion, can be time-consuming, and some services have limitations regarding resource updates, occasionally necessitating complete resource recreation. Despite these challenges, the platform's comprehensive feature set and robust security framework make it a valuable asset in our technology stack.
